Follow Friday (3)

Q: Do you have anyone you can discuss books with IRL?  Tell us about him/her.

I have a couple of people I can discuss books with in real life.
Firstly, it would have to be my mother...She has been a bookaholic since I can remember!  She is the one who stayed up late reading me the Harry Potter series and taught me to read at a very early age...Now that I'm a teenager we tend to read the same books.  Thus, we can have conversation bonanzas!
One of my close friends, Justine (a bookful of thoughts), is book blogger herself.  She is the one who introduced me to Goodreads, and then blogging.  We can always pass the time discussing our favourite love-interests in novels, as well as other crush-worthy scenes... ;)
My best friend, Angelica, isn't really into reading :(...However, she lets me ramble on about the books I've read with a smile on her face.  I tend to get over-excited when retelling a story, jumping from scene to random scene.  Somehow, she still manages to seem very interested in what I have to say!

  1. Hi Sarah! I just stumbled upon your blog via Parajunkee's Friday Follow, thought I'd say "hi" and I am now a follower :)

That's so great to have people close to you that you can chat books with-- I am pretty much the only book worm in my family, but I am also a librarian so at work, I have a bunch of people that I can talk books with :)

Feel free to stop by my site and see my FF at LC's Adventures in Libraryland

    Have a great weekend!

Oh my gosh, you wouldn't believe it if I said I never read the Harry Potter series entirely. I got into reading much later than you. I did read the last two books, though! LOL. Shame on me :P

Awww, Angelica! I can almost imagine the comments that she'd make when you explain a scene you're excited about! hehe!

    HAPPY FRIDAY! :D :D

  9. Hopping through. My mother and I read some of the same books, but not many. She didn't read when I was a kid. I wish we'd had the relationship you have with your mom.
